Well, That'll Teach Her...

Well - My daughter finally had her "day in court" for heroin possession. And the verdict is.... Deferred Adjudication. I hope that makes sense one day to the people who love and care for her.
On a happier note - baby has a laptop now so he can work like I do :-)

The justice system and addiction will never make sense to me. The picture of the little one with the computer is so very cute. God Bless.

Drugs leave people with so much to overcome.

About the only thing I haven't faced with my son is the legal system, but there are times when I wish he would have been pulled in...maybe he would have found "his bottom" quicker, I don't know. I imagine, it must be odd for you to see your daughter in this system, hoping for some justice (and some help) and then you don't get it. Wow.

Awww, my son does exactly the same with his 'laptop'. I didn't realise the baby was so young- must be so so hard for you.

I thought they only had that in Texas..are you in Texas? Anyway, if she screws up it will go back to the original charge.

Looks like she gets yet another chance to figure it out on her own.
Will she??

I am not sure what Deferred Adjudication is??? It doesn't sound very helpful. My son received court ordered rehab, we'll see if that helps.

The baby is too cute keyboarding away on his laptop....the question is, is it a Mac or a PC? :)

I hadn't heard of that verdict. I guess that I'm glad that I haven't. I hope that she gets another chance to get better.
